Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) asked what President Trump was hiding upon the Republican President’s refusal to release the Democratic memo voted on by the House Intelligence Committee.
“The President’s double standard when it comes to transparency is appalling. The rationale for releasing the Nunes memo, transparency, vanishes when it could show information that’s harmful to him. Millions of Americans are asking one simple question: what is he hiding?”
Schumer is asking the right question because Trump was happy to release the Republican cherry picked memo that he thought would somehow prove his innocence (it did not). But now that there’s more to the story, Trump suddenly is against transparency.
This is the man who allowed a national security meeting to be recorded by fellow diners on Facebook Live. He’s not big on privacy and security. He let the Russians in on our top secrets.

So it’s very odd that he suddenly has national security fever but only when it comes to the Democratic memo on the Trump Russia probe. What’s in this memo that he doesn’t want the public to see?
Trump can refuse to declassify it, but it will come out one way or another.
