S**thole President: Devastating Poll Shows Nearly 60% Of Americans Think Trump Is A Racist

Even though the headlines always seem to brush past Donald Trump’s racist rhetoric, a devastating poll shows that the American people haven’t forgotten.

A whopping 57 percent of the country believes the President of the United States is a racist, according to a new survey released by The Associated Press-NORC.

An explanation of the poll’s finding from the AP:

According to a new poll by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, 57 percent of Americans think Trump’s policies have been bad for Muslims, and 56 percent think they’ve been bad for Hispanics. Forty-seven percent, including three-quarters of blacks, think they’ve been bad for African Americans.

Fifty-seven percent of all adults, including more than 8 in 10 blacks, three-quarters of Hispanics and nearly half of whites, said they think Trump is racist. Eighty-five percent of Democrats consider Trump racist, but just 21 percent of Republicans agree.

Trump’s racism has been obvious for years

Trump’s racism has been well-known since before he became president. Literally, his kick-off speech featured an infamous ramble about how Mexican immigrants are criminals and rapists.

Some of the most defining moments of the campaign revolved around the latest racist attack he waged on a minority group, whether it was insulting a federal judge or a Muslim Gold Star family.

While some thought he would tone it down after taking office, he has done just the opposite. When it mattered most, Trump has doubled down on the racism that got him elected.

Following the violent white supremacist rally in Charlottesville last summer, Trump decided to say “many sides” were at fault instead of putting the blame where it belonged – with neo-Nazis carrying torches through American streets.

In another telling moment during an immigration meeting earlier this year, Trump said the United States shouldn’t allow immigrants from “shithole countries,” referring to Haiti and African countries.

Let’s not forget that Trump’s entire political career was fueled by his phony crusade to prove that former President Barack Obama – who most Americans wish was still in the White House – was actually born in Kenya, not Hawaii.

The fact that the vast majority of Americans feel that Donald Trump is a racist is not the product of media bias. It’s a direct result of years’ worth of repugnant rhetoric and behavior.
