Former CNN anchor Rick Sanchez became the latest celebrity to engage in the Racist Celebrity Foot in Mouth Walk of Shame today as he issued a formal apology to Daily Show host Jon Stewart for calling him a bigot. Sanchez said in a statement, “I had a very good conversation with Jon Stewart, and I had the opportunity to apologize for my inartful comments from last week.”
Republicans have been talking for months as if at least a partial takeover of Congress is a virtual certainty, but a new survey and analysis released by Democracy Corps today, not only shows the election tightening, but also a growing possibility that Republicans may yet snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
According to new Pew Research survey released today, there are a ton of negatives for any candidate running for election in 2010, but there is no bigger negative, except for supporting the bank bailouts, for a candidate than an endorsement from Sarah Palin. 42% of those surveyed said that a Palin endorsement would make them not vote for a candidate.
While claiming to be an agent of change, an outsider determined to make changes, Angle is at once claiming the Republican Party has not supported her and at the same time claiming she has “juice†in Washington.
