Health inspectors have cited Trump’s private Mar-a-Lago resort with 78 violations including the presence of mold in the ice machines and parasites in the food.
Other issues included smoked salmon being served without undergoing “proper parasite destruction” and a hand washing sink for employees with water that was not hot enough.
The January inspections were not the first time authorities have found problems at Mar-a-Lago. Over the last three years, records show the club has been cited 78 times for violations that included chefs handling food without washing their hands, dirty cutting boards, a slicer “soiled with old food debris” and an “accumulation of “black/green mold-like substance” in the ice machine.
This is the place where Trump is bringing foreign leaders. Mar-a-Lago is representing the United States of America to the rest of the world. Just like the man who owns it, the private resort creates an outward projection of wealth and luxury, but a closer look reveals an inside that will make you sick.
Just like the Trump presidency, Mar-a-Lago is not fit to represent the American people. If Trump can’t clean up his private club, voters are going to have to clean out the Trumps.
