Trump’s presidential impotence was on full display after the New York terror attack that killed eight and injured fifteen when instead of leading, all Trump could muster was an all-caps tweet.
Trump tweeted:
In NYC, looks like another attack by a very sick and deranged person. Law enforcement is following this closely. NOT IN THE U.S.A.!

The president didn’t make a brief statement to the country. There was no official White House statement from Trump. The White House only released a statement saying, “The President has been briefed on the incident in NYC by CoS Kelly and will be continually updated as more details are known. Our Thoughts and prayers are with all those affected.”
Someone committed an act of terror in New York, and all Trump can say is not in the USA. Well, guess what? It did happen in the USA. This attack was no different than ones that have occurred in Europe. It did happen here, and all the weak president can do is watch cable news and tell himself that this attack didn’t really happen under his watch.
The reality that the asleep at the wheel president is not keeping America safe.
At the time when the United States needs presidential leadership, all Donald Trump can offer is a delusional tweet.
