During a briefing with reporters, House Intelligence Committee ranking member Rep. Adam Schiff said that more people know about the Trump Tower meeting with Russians and he specifically pointed to Ivanka Trump as someone that he wants to speak with.
“I think it would be valuable to have her come and testify before the committee,” Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said at the Capitol.

“I think that if there’s credible information that Ivanka Trump had contact with any of the participants in that meeting at the time of that meeting, she should be brought in,” he said. He added that there are “a number of other witnesses” he’d like to call in order to determine whether it’s necessary to call the younger Trump.
If Ivanka Trump knew about the meeting or ran into the participants in Trump Tower and didn’t tell investigators, that is a crime. Schiff said that there are dozens of potential witnesses that Republicans are blocking the Intelligence Committee from interviewing. Frankly, the House Intel Committee investigation has been turned into a joke by Rep. Devin Nunes.
Republicans are planning on writing a report that will clear Trump. A real investigation of the Russia scandal will only happen on the House side if Democrats take back the body in November.
Ivanka Trump has her own ties to Russia, so it is surprising that it took so long for her name to come up. Everyone in Trump Tower had to have known about the meeting with Russians, and it may only be a matter of time until the Trump family dominos begin to fall.
