The indictments of 13 Russians isn’t the end of the Russia investigation. The probe is expected to continue for months.
Bloomberg reported,”Friday’s indictment of a St. Petersburg-based “troll farm†and 13 Russian nationals should be seen as a limited slice of a comprehensive investigation, the person said. Mueller’s work is expected to continue for months and also includes examining potential obstruction of justice by Trump, said the person, who requested anonymity to discuss an investigation that is largely confidential.”
Robert Mueller isn’t going anywhere. Contrary to the latest Trump spin, the Russia investigation is not over, and he has not been cleared. At best, Trump’s claim that today’s indictments are good for him is bad spin. At worst, it is a total delusion. Trump can’t dance his way out of the Russia scandal his tactic of trying to pick out one sentence and use it to exonerate himself is worn out.
The Russia investigation is going to continue, and unless Trump wants to be impeached before the midterm election, he has no choice but to let it all play out.
