On MSNBCs Morning Joe on Monday, Joe Scarborough called out Rudy Giuliani for accusing special counsel Robert Mueller of running a “tainted” investigation of President Donald Trump and his campaign.
Scarborough responded directly to Giuliani after he made comments on several Sunday talk shows disparaging Robert Mueller’s investigation of the Trump campaign.
Giuliani said the former FBI director was overseeing “the most corrupt investigation” he had ever seen, and said the president would not sit down with Mueller until he could prove the probe was legitimate
“I so thank you for opening the door,”Scarborough said, addressing Giuliani. He then spent nearly nine minutes reading a list of corruption and scandals during the Trump presidency.

“Since Rudy mentioned most corrupt, let’s take a better look at some examples of corruption,” said Scarborough before reciting the extensive list. He then read the name of every Trump campaign official who has pleaded guilty to or has been indicted during the Mueller investigation. He also read the very long list of ethical violations by administration officials.
Here is what Scarborough said:
“Robert Mueller’s investigations brought charges against four ex-Trump advisers, top Trump political advisers, including his former campaign chief, who is now sitting in jail after allegations of witness tampering after his own indictments on fraud, false statements and foreign laundering of money. Yeah, that’s what you call corrupt, Rudy.”
“Or maybe the fact that his ex-national security adviser, Michael Flynn, pleaded guilty to lying to investigators, top campaign aide and transition official Rick Gates also pleaded to conspiracy and lying to investigators, and foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos pleaded guilty to misleading investigators about, you guessed it, his contacts with the Bulgarians? No, with the Russians, claiming to have dirt on Clinton.”
Scarborough also included Michael Cohen, Ryan Zinke, Trump’s charitable donations scandal, Scott Pruitt’s many scandals, Trump’s hotels, White House lawn sales pitches for Ivanka Trump products, and Wilbur Ross in his comprehensive listing.
“Some, four of Donald Trump’s hand-picked ex-advisers, one of his lawyers, one of his digital marketing strategists, 14 Russian nationalists, three Russian companies and five guilty pleas in all, all connected to Donald Trump, his campaign, his organization, the election of 2016,” Scarborough added.
The Morning Joe host concluded his impressive yet alarming list of Trump administration corruption by saying:
“You know, Rudy, there’s so much corruption to go around and you brought this up, you opened the door. And here’s the amazing thing, it’s only a year and a half.”
“Good job, Rudy,” Scarborough concluded.
