Trump Tantrums And Threatens To Take Down All Walls If He Doesn’t Get His Wall

Trump threatened to take down all the walls if Democrats don’t give him the money to build his border wall.

Trump said, “That if we had the simplicity of a well-constructed beautiful barrier or wall, they wouldn’t be able to come into our that to me is the great sin. And everybody knows it works. I watched this morning earlier in the morning somebody trying to justify walls are immoral. I mean if walls are immoral, maybe we should take down all the walls that are built right you will see a mess like you’ve never seen before. So I only say this. I was elected, partially on this issue — not as much as people say, but partially on this nothing to do with elections. Nothing to do with votes. Only to do with common sense and only to do with security. And if we don’t put up a barrier or wall, a strong one, but one that looks good. In the old days, they used to build them, they look terrible. Now we build them, they look good. If we don’t put up a physical barrier, you can forget it.”

Trump Does Not Get It

Democrats keep telling Trump that he is not getting any money for his wall. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told Trump again today that there will be no money in the bill to fund the government being negotiated by the conference committee for his wall, so Trump responded with more threats and demands for a wall. Donald Trump doesn’t get it.

Congress is a co-equal branch of the government. The president can’t threaten, tantrum, and demand until he gets what he wants.

Trump is free to veto the bipartisan government funding bill, but if he does, he needs to be ready for one of two things to happen. Senate Republicans are going to rebel and override his veto, or he will shut the government down and the country will rebel against him.

Either way, things are about to get very ugly for Donald Trump.
