In Bonkers Tweet, Trump Claims He Meant To Call Tim Cook Tim Apple

Trump can’t admit to doing anything wrong which is why he claims that he meant to call Tim Cook Tim Apple.

Trump tweeted:

A president who lies about “Tim Apple” will lie about anything

A popular and liked president would have caught on to the Tim Apple memes, laughed off the gaffe and played along. Since Donald Trump refuses to ever admit that he did anything wrong because it might make him look weak, he made up this goofball excuse that comes down to I meant to do that. Presidents make mistakes. They get their words tangled up. They say things wrong. It happens.

Most presidents see it as an opportunity to remind everyone that they are human beings.

It is good macro personality politics.

Voters like a president who can laugh at himself.

Trump is so desperate to be perceived as strong, which is ironic because he is the weakest president in possibly 100 years, that he refuses to admit any mistake, no matter how small.

Donald Trump’s refusal to play along with the joke and laugh at himself is one of the many reasons why voters are likely to reject the ugly, false, lie-filled, gloom and doom presidency of Trump in 2020.
