Pete Buttigieg slammed Trump for being a rich kid who faked a disability to avoid serving in Vietnam.
Here was the exchange:
Q: You believe he faked a disability?
Buttigieg: Do you believe he has a disability? At least not that one. This is somebody who, I think it’s fairly obvious to most of us, took advantage of the fact that he was a child of a multimillionaire in order to pretend to be disabled so somebody could go to war in his place.
Pete Buttigieg Is A Veteran. Donald Trump Is A Fraud.
Trump has never released the medical records of his “bone spur” that kept him out of the Vietnam War. Pete Buttigieg served his nation in Afghanistan. Donald Trump has mocked war heroes and attacked Gold Star families as he dodged serving his country.
The big difference between 2016 and 2020 is that Democrats are coming after Trump on everything. They aren’t taken by surprise by Trump. Democrats have four years and counting worth of material to use on this president, and in 2020, they have a roster of candidates like Pete Buttigieg who are qualified to call out this president for his cowardice and lack of service to his country.
Someone lost a son, a brother, a boyfriend, father, or friend because Donald Trump’s daddy bought him out of going to Vietnam.
Trump was born a child of privilege who has lived an insulated life of privilege. Trump has no clue what it is like to be an American who has to worry about paying their bills or dying in a war.
Trump’s a fake.
A man who would fake a disability to avoid serving his country would have no problem with committing crimes to win and keep the presidency.
America has learned the hard way that character matters in a president.
