Scott Walker Gets Ridiculed For Highest Job Losses in the Nation
Here’s something you have to watch, just for the sheer deliciousness. Ed Schultz takes on Governor Scott Walker’s worst job losses in the country record. But the fun doesn’t stop there. He then brings on Governor Pat Quinn (D-IL) for a little job growth schadenfreude.
In case you block out most of what Scott Walker says, just a month ago Walker was mocking the Illinois Governor and “breaking his arm patting himself on the back” over his policies. But alas for poor Scott, today the Wisconsin State Journal ran with this headline:
“Wisconsin job losses highest in nation for last 12 months, federal report says.” Oh. OH. Oh.
Job creators. Uh huh.

The Wisconsin State Journal reported that the job losses weren’t all public sector. Oh, no. Walker can kill jobs everywhere. Public, private, you name it, Scott Walker can kill it:
Wisconsin saw the largest percentage decrease in employment in the nation during the 12 months ending in March, a new report by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics said.
During that time period, while 27 states and the District of Columbia saw significant job increases, only Wisconsin saw “statistically significant” job losses, the report said.
From March 2011 to March 2012, the state lost 23,900 jobs, for the country’s largest percentage decrease, at 0.9 percent.
Of the 23,900 jobs lost in Wisconsin in that period, 17,900 were from the public sector and 6,000 were from the private sector, according to the BLS. (Note: Jobs and unemployment rate data in the BLS report for all the states and D.C. refers to non-farm employment.)
Ed included one of his infamous polls in the show, asking if we think Romney would implement Walker type policies. We already know that Romney said he would, praised Walker and his policies specifically while visiting ironically in Waukesha County (home of Republican election malfeasance), where Republicans grow on trees every election day.
We know that Romney subscribes to the same Koch ALEC agenda as Walker. We know Romney thinks Paul Ryan is as close to God as he can get when he’s not hugging on Walker.
We know Romney has the ethics of a turnip. What’s to stop Romney from enacting the very same job killing policies as Scott Walker? You. You are what is going to have to stop him when you vote this November.

He’s running around running on his fiscal greatness. Tyrant and idiot.
Romney has the ethics of a cornered rabid rat. Turnips have morals compared to romrat.
Yay..I’m back on PoliticusUSA..for a bit it wouldn’t let me post without a password that it asked me to copy or paste..which I did but it still wouldn’t let me.

I watched Ed last night tear Walker apart. There is no doubt Romney will run with these tactics where he can.
On the other hand I fully expect Romney to back away from Walker and say he never supported him even though he did.
Walker is making a fool of ALEC. But then ALEC doesn’t care what it looks like as long as people are unemployed. Which is strange becuase all the Corporations that pay them dues depend on those very same people for their profits
I can’t wait to see these clowns get their asses beat in the next election. It’s like they are trying to sabotage what ever they can before getting voted out.
The trouble with Walkerf and Mittfits is they have silver sppons for brains
I’m so happy for all you smartass libs who’d rather have 3.6B deficit, higher taxes, and union control of the state govt. What MSDNC joker Ed “Sargeant’ Schulz didn’t bother to tell you is that Wisconson also had a significant drop in the unemployment rate and employment is up in the state since Walker took office. And, duh, the public sector labor force was going to drop – that was the whole point.
If employment is up in the state, why is Wisconsin last in the nation in job creation?
BTW, repealing obam, acare will add billions to the deficit. Ryans plan adds well over a trillion to the current deficit. The gop wants to raise your taxes and all you can do is “holler” at liberals.
BTW, the Union never controlled the state. You need to take a shower and get that smell off you.
DMB….TAKE YOUR TALKIN POINTS ON OVER TO FOX SNOOZE AND BY THE WAY YOU ARE MISSING A U BETWEEN THAT D&M…
The recall election can’t happen soon enough!!!

The only trickle down economics that actually works.
When people loose their jobs, more people loose their jobs.
Wow, real strong intellectual come-back. I guess the truth hurts too much to be rational.
Guess those tax cuts for the “job creators” aren’t working out so well.
