Even Donald Trump Is Complaining About CNN’s Horrible Trump Obsession

CNN has managed to do the impossible. They have gone so far with their Trump obsessed coverage, that even Donald Trump himself complained about it during an interview on MSNBC.

Trump went on the other Trump obsessed cable news network (MSNBC) and admitted that even he thought CNN’s fixation with him was too much.

Trump said, “Well I thought I was treated fairly. I thought I was on too much. I felt badly for everybody else. Every question had to do with me. Even the first characters, I mean, everything was about Trump. And then they go into this debate, and there was split screens all over the place. I’ve never seen anything like it. It was a little bit unfair to a lot of other people, frankly. But from my standpoint, I was treated fairly. Time magazine did a poll, and it had 67% say Trump won the debate. You know, I was listening to you talking about Carly, and I thought Carly was fine, but they saw it a little bit differently.”

When a man who refers to himself in the third-person complaints about the excessive nature of the coverage, it is obvious that CNN went too far.

CNN boss Jeff Zucker and company convinced themselves that the only way that they were going to get record ratings was to go heavy on Trump. The first four questions of the first CNN debate was all about Trump. Donald Trump wasn’t in the first debate, but CNN forced the other candidates to talk about him.
The network was so Trump crazed that they cut away from the stage before the first debate started in order to show Trump getting out of his car and walking.

The whole thing was just too much. CNN behaved like a parody of itself. The way the debate was handled was so bad that even a raging egomaniac narcissist like Donald Trump could see that it was way over the top.

  1. CNN has always taken a news item and beat it to absolute death. They did it during the 9/11 attacks, keeping the orange alert up for a full year after the terrorist attacks. They beat it to death when the Malaysian 370 airplane crashed. So for them to beat the Trump drum until it’s punctured, well, it’s not a stretch.

This is the reason why I won’t have CNN as part of my cable package.

  2. …DAMN!!! Jon Stewart doin’ a CNN Debate parody on his old show woulda done a MUCH better job, and answered better questions…
…I too avoid CNN like Bubonic Plague Bacillus…

  3. Trump moves his head but not his body and looks like a bobblehead.
Someone needs to educate him on the use of a lectern , YOU DON’T LEAN ON IT.

  4. Remember when CNN was the most trusted name in news, not just in cable news?
Seems like that was a very long time ago, huh?

  5. Trump lost to Carly and hes tantrumming,as usual. He looked like a fool last night. Flipflopped on too many things to mention. I thought it was extremely uncool and disrespectful of Rump to not apologize to Jeb’s wife when asked to. I totally believe the only women this douche bag cares about are the ones that have fake, plastic bodies willing to parade themselves half naked on a stage for men and money. No class.

  6. All Trump, all the time. Whenever I’m just sitting around, nothing to do, CNN. Let the helpless dead horse beatings begin, then take a drink like Lindsey does.

  7. Trump tried hard to keep his temper in control but he he fail on everything else. I just wonder how many of his so called followers got a real look at him last night. If they did, they would have realize he was playing them for a fool all this time. In a way I feel sorry for some of them he have been leading astray but some of them I don’t because they asked for a person like him every since Obama became president. They never wanted a black man in the white house and they will not let Ben Carson who is in their own party become president, he might be VP but not president. But right now these debates are more like circus show with everyone fighting each other and no one giving good solutions or plans for the futures. All they talk about is taking things away from people like it is nothing. They really don’t listen to the American people at all.

  8. I hope to see an ad with a compilation of his juvenile face-making by an opponent. I, too, immediately change the channel if he pops up, but I’d love to see an ad highlighting his childish behavior. Not a person to be in control of our military, for sure. Better yet, a split screen with animated Trump vs. animated Hitler! Perfect ad.

  9. Trump speaks at a 3rd grade level, while the other candidates are around 8th grade, more or less.

It helps to explain Trump’s popularity. Those who like him can understand him better than they understand other candidates.

But it’s a sad indictment of our educational system that so many Americans are only semi-literate.

Ignorance is a powerful tool for oppressing the masses, and Republicans are doing their part to keep Americans ignorant: slipping religion into school curricula; cutting funding for public education; enabling charter schools; and trying to shut down the Department of Education. Putting education in states’ hands was a huge mistake.

Without a free press, we’re even more vulnerable to plutocrats and theocrats.

We have so got to get those people out of office before they turn our country into a ghetto of poor, uneducated thralls.

  10. Trump could never tire of himself or attention. None of the media outlets want to miss his implosion, so they continue the chase. The Republcan party will not allow him to take the nomination, any more than they will Ben Carson. They would suck it up to a female, before they allow Trump or another African American in the White House. None of the current candidates really meet with their antiquated agenda. This is supposed to be Jeb’s time to rule, and his nomination to win. I predict he will be the chosen nominee, no matter what.

  11. Thank you for that. Thats hilarious, I pray it makes it into a national commercial/ad. Please, please political gods – let this clip go national.
