In a preview for the latest episode of Celebrity Big Brother, former White House staffer Omarosa Manigault Newman said that Vice President Mike Pence would make an even more terrifying president than Donald Trump.
“Can I just say this? As bad as y’all think Trump is, you would be worried about Pence,” she said, surrounded by her housemates. “So everybody that’s wishing for impeachment might want to reconsider their lives. We would be begging for days of Trump back if Pence became president, that’s all I’m saying.”
She went on to discuss the vice president’s fervent religious beliefs and claimed that he thinks he’s got a direct line to Jesus.
“He’s extreme,” she said. “I’m Christian, I love Jesus, but he thinks Jesus tells him to say things. And like, Jesus ain’t say that. He’s scary.”
Omarosa was first introduced to the American public in 2004 as a contestant on Trump’s reality show The Apprentice, after which she appeared on several other reality programs. She was reportedly fired as Trump’s Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison in December, though she insists she resigned. The White House did not deny reports that she had been “physically dragged” off White House grounds.
