Trump is being described as angry, isolated, and trying to get Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump to leave the White House due to Kushner’s various scandals.
The New York Times reported:
Mr. Trump is isolated and angry, as well, according to other friends and aides, as he carries on a bitter feud with his attorney general and watches members of his family clash with a chief of staff he recruited to restore a semblance of order — all against the darkening shadow of an investigation of his ties to Russia.

Privately, some aides have expressed frustration that Mr. Kushner and his wife, the president’s daughter Ivanka Trump, have remained at the White House, despite Mr. Trump at times saying they never should have come to the White House and should leave. Yet aides also noted that Mr. Trump has told the couple that they should keep serving in their roles, even as he has privately asked Mr. Kelly for his help in moving them out.

Trump is running out of allies. Hope Hicks is gone, and it appears that the president is trying to save his own skin by kicking his own kids out of the White House. It is important to remember that Trump’s kids are in the White House because he put them there. Trump ignored ethics rules and went the straight nepotism route by placing his children in senior positions that they were not fit to hold.
The bad news for Trump is that even if Jared and Ivanka leave today, the Russia scandal is not going to go away. Trump is going to be dogged by Mueller and the Russia investigation until the truth is revealed. Sending the kids back to New York won’t fix anything.
Trump is so self-interested that he would kick his own family out of the White House if it would save his skin.
