Malcolm Nance Blasts Kushner For Undermining National Security: What Country Is He Working For?

Counterterrorism expert Malcolm Nance blasted Trump adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner for using his position in the White House to benefit his companies while also opening himself up to blackmail from foreign governments.

According to Nance, Kushner’s behavior since taking his official government role makes it difficult to tell “whose side” he’s on.

Video:

When MSNBC’s AM Joy asked Nance why Kushner’s personal business dealings may “pose a national security threat,” he went off:

It because a national security risk because you may be trading on government information, government intelligence. We don’t know whose side you may be trading it for. You may be an agent of a foreign power or you may be using classified information for your own enrichment.  He met with the director of VEB bank, known as the bank of spies, run by an ex-KGB officer who may have been a non-official cover officer and went to them for money without telling anyone. When you go out and reach out to organizations like that, then the Chinese, Qataris, United Arab Emirates while supposedly an official who is working for the United States government – every one of those governments can now blackmail you.

Kushner has been a national security risk since day one

As Nance noted in his remarks on AM Joy, Kushner has repeatedly been a risk to national security. His personal business dealings involving foreign governments and undisclosed communications with Russia call into question his loyalty to the U.S. He seems to care more about using his position to enrich himself than advance the interests of the United States.

Just this past week, The New York Times reported that Kushner received over $500 million in private business loans from companies after holding official White House meetings with them. Both the timing and the unusually large amount of the loans are raising eyebrows. It’s also unclear what the Trump son-in-law promised these interests in return for their generosity.

As Kushner opens himself up to foreign blackmail and continues using his high-level government position to enrich himself financially, the biggest remaining question is: Why does Jared Kushner still have a job in the White House?
