Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) was kicked out of Fiona Hill’s impeachment investigation testimony by Democrats because he tried to crash the hearing for Trump.
Manu Raju tweeted:
Matt Gaetz emerges from closed-door interview with Fiona Hill saying he was kicked out by House Democrats bc he’s not a member of the three committees conducting the interview. He said he consulted with the House parliamentarian, who ruled that he could not be there.

Gaetz sharply criticized Adam Schiff, saying it’s a “sham processâ€
— Manu Raju (@mkraju) October 14, 2019
By “sham process,” Gaetz means it is an interview that he wasn’t allowed to crash and report back to Trump exactly what was said.
Rep. Gaetz is not a member of any of the three House committees who are interviewing Hill as part of the impeachment investigation. He has no right to attend a closed-door interview of any witness. Democrats have learned from how House Republicans sabotaged and corrupted the Russia investigation. There will be no stooges for Trump reporting to the White House exactly what witnesses say in their interviews.
Rep. Gaetz is most recently known for thinking that the term Kangaroo court came from the children’s TV show Captain Kangaroo. Gaetz is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, as evidenced by his belief that he could crash the interview of an impeachment witness, and nobody would notice or mind.
Democrats noticed, and they immediately kicked him out.
