Trump is a grown man who can make his own choices. Trump chose to endorse Oz. Trump chose to hold a rally last Saturday in Pennsylvania, where Oz was a special guest star. A rally that might have cost Oz the Senate race because appearing with Trump destroyed the facade that he was crafting that he was a moderate Pennsylvania Republican like Sen. Pat Toomey.
Donald Trump will always find someone else to blame for his failures, but blaming his wife, who isn’t a political professional, for his decision to back Oz is childish and delusional.
Voters continue to shatter Trump’s self-created myth that he is a winner.
The failed former president is feeling the pressure as Republican grumbling is increasing that the party wants him gone because he is an anchor around their necks, which leads them to defeat.
Melania Trump can be blamed for a lot of things, such as the destruction of the Rose Garden at the White House, but the decision to back Mehmet Oz belongs to Donald Trump and is a big reason why Democrats are likely to keep the Senate.
