The drama that cable news is playing up isn’t accurate. The view from inside the hall is very pro-Hillary Clinton.
Here are some observations from Day One of the DNC so far:
– The Bernie supporters have come to Philly and brought the protests.

Here are a few pics of protests that I snapped on Sunday:
The Bernie Bus:
The Sanders protesters are making their voices heard, but they are outnumbered. What isn’t coming through on the cable news coverage that is being heard loud and clear in the hall is that this convention is Hillary Clinton’s.
One of the striking early elements of this convention is the sheer volume of Hispanic speakers who are speaking Spanish. The contrast with the white fear driven lily white speakers on the stage at the Republican convention is stark.
The last stand of the Bernie supporters is getting a ton of play, especially on cable news, but the reality is that the Democratic convention is not greatly divided. The truth of the Democratic convention in Philadelphia is that Democrats are coming after Donald Trump.
Controversy sales, but the real story of day one is Bernie’s last bow on Hillary’s stage.
