It was a bonzo gonzo crazy fest on FNC’s Hannity recently as Ted Nugent showed up and blasted the Obama administration as spitting in the face of average Americans. Nugent said, “Then they see an administration that is spitting on the US Constitution, the Ten Commandments, the Bill of Rights and the Golden Rule.”
Nugent said, “Everybody I hang with the ranchers, the farmers, the cops, the teachers, everybody I hang with, they got an alarm clock. They get up they put their heart and soul into the being the very best they can be. They want to be an asset to their families, their neighborhood. They want to be the best they can be. They want to be productive members of society, and then they see an administration that is spitting on the US Constitution, the Ten Commandments, the Bill of Rights and the Golden Rule, so we the tea parties, we the people who are speaking up, I’m gonna quote my hero Dr. Martin Luther King, we who engage in non violent direct action are not the cause of tension, but rather bring it to the surface a tension that already exists. That’s the job of we the people to be watchdogs and whistleblowers. The government works for us. They’re absolutely out of control. The Tea Party, and what you stand for Sean, and I stand for, one big a-word, accountability. That’s our money, at least be honest and accountable.”
Ted Nugent has now become a non violent pacifist, but this video demonstrates otherwise:
In case you could not understand the audio, Nugent said, “I was in Chicago last week I said—Hey Obama, you might want to suck on one of these you punk? Obama, he’s a piece of shit and I told him to suck on one of my machine guns… Let’s hear it for them. I was in NY and I said hey Hillary—you might want to ride one of these into the sunset you worthless bitch… Since I’m in California, I’m gonna find- she might wanna suck on my machine gun! Hey, Dianne Feinstein, ride one of these you worthless whore. Any questions? Freeeeedom!”
Nugent is one to talk about accountability, when he has no semblance of it in his own life. The same man who was sitting with Sean Hannity discussing accountability once had to be hauled into court because he was a deadbeat dad who refused to support his illegitimate child, or how about Nugent admitting that he is a coward, who chickened his way out of serving his country in Vietnam? There is an a-word that comes to mind when I think of Ted Nugent, and it isn’t accountability. I can also think of an h-word, hypocrite.
Much like all of the other right wingers, Nugent is outraged that Obama is taking away God and freedom, yet he can’t name any freedoms that have been taken away or any instance where God has been lost. Ted Nugent’s little rant to Sean Hannity gives us a chance to point out that the Tea Party is nothing new. The same things that Nugent said about Obama were said about Bill Clinton in the 1990s, Ted Kennedy in the 1980s, Jimmy Carter in the 1970s, heck some of these things were even said about John F. Kennedy in the 1960s, and before him, FDR. The only thing more outdated than this rhetoric is Ted Nugent’s set list.

Just another upstanding American that $arah Paylin endorses. Tells you something about her fans. Fox has him on all the time, I guess they just love this kind of nasty hate talk. They have all these kind of guest so they are not always the ones spewing the most filthy garbage, but get their message out they agree with.
As on old Michigan fan of Terrible Ted, I have always enjoyed his music, but he’s a jackass.
I have to say this. Being from Michigan and growing up in the late 60s and early 70s, I’ve seen Ted Nugent perform many many times. I rank him in the top five of all time top guitarists. I seen him shoot a pheasant through the neck with a bow and arrow.
But I’ve also seen many of the comments that he makes and he is very much like a typical right-wing pundit. He is the type of guy who will say Obama is spitting on the Constitution yet never give an example of what he is talking about. His shtick is to talk real fast and gloss over everything.
This is what Fox news and the GOP is down to now. No facts, no platform, just good old stupid rhetoric
I’m kind of surprised he surfaced as his big thing is guns. I guess the fact that no one’s guns have been taken away have caused him to have to search for other causes to spit about
It’s impossible to miss the racially tinged “you work for us” implication.
These people are blustering, dogmatic walking opinions who like to talk big about their guns and what they shot yesterday. I know his type and I have nothing against them, but when they start spouting off on a national platform about stuff they know nothing about, well — bad things are bound to happen. Psst, Ted, this ain’t your deer hunting lodge and it’s NOT ok for your to talk about having the President and various female politicians sucking your gun. Really. NOT ok.
Ted Nugent’s remarks speak volumes about both him and the people he claims to speak for, while saying nothing of Obama. I bet that underneath all that blustering machismo, Nugent is a coward at heart. As far as spitting on the Ten Commandments is concerned, Nugent has joined Palin, Limbaugh, Beck, and others in bearing false witness against at least 2 of their fellow humans–namely, Obama and Pelosi. So, he publicly spat on the one on lying about others.
At a time when gun rights are actually being expanded by none other than the U.S. Supreme Court, this clown and his ilk are still running around talking about their big guns and some claim their gun rights are threatened. For people who presume to speak for all Americans, they are utterly clueless. I would bet that they don’t view the president as a “real American,” according to their narrow, short-sighted views of this country.
Ted Nugent ought to be turned into the Secret Service for his remarks against POTUS and other lawmakers.
He is a worthless POS who was a one hit wonder, and if you listen to the words of “Cat scratch fever” a very sexist piggy song and as I said one rift wonder on the guitar.
But he has a BIG FOUL mouth and like most of the on the right, wouldn’t know the constitution if it slapped them across the face. It cracks me up these uneducated turds like him bashing POTUS for not knowing the constitution! LOL! He was only a Constitutional Lawyer who was a professor in constitutional law and a JD also.
TN is a loud mouth know nothing POS who need to STFU and stick his gun in his own mouth and blow the trigger…by, by teddy boy…!

I used to like Nugent back in the 70’s, as he really rocked and was quite the wild man and a great guitar player. I don’t like his politics though, and he doesn’t make many (if any) solid arguments to buttress his case. The thing I really dislike about him though, is that he loves to kill. He says it’s for the thrill of the hunt and to stock his freezer with wild game meat, but it’s just an excuse to kill. He’s a sick man. Get help Ted.
Wow – he’s a real class act isn’t he?
I don’t know how Ted went from feel good rocker, and I grew up with his music as a staple of FM radio, to being this bitter, old, angry, white racist. Nugent thinks he is a real man’s man, because he hunts and fishes and dresses the part, but if you listen to his words closely, he guided by fear just like many others on the far right. The Nugent on Hannity last night is the same coward who chickened out of going to Vietnam. The bigger the draft dodger the tougher they talk. It’s called overcompensation.
Lets be careful how we use this tool and always make a differentation between someones opinion and someone being a troll. I would hate to see a dissenting opinion be quashed simply because we do not agree with it.
That is not an accusation BTW as this is not directed at you Crystal, probably more at myself more than anyone. Just as with all tools of this nature it can be “abused” for lack of a better word. On the flip side I dont think its right to give someone a thumbs up just because they are on your side in an issue. This tool should be used for the post that make better than normal posts and the creme de la creme of the worst.
Just my opinion of course.
As one of my former heros Jim Rome used to say, Have a take and don’t suck.
FYI: Folks I banned a certain commenter last night. This person was completely out of control, and really left me no choice, so I will ban people if I have to. One other thing, would anybody be interested in serving as a moderator for the comments section? I am looking for a couple of interested individuals.
I would be interested, I moderate chat on a cam site. You have my email I’m sure
So Senator “Boner” wanted Paul McCartney to apologize for saying Bush didn’t know what a library is, but this asshole gets away with this. NO ONE on the right is asking for an apology from Mr. Cat Scratch Fever.
I used to go to see concerts where Nugent headlined. I would watch the opening acts, then cut out before Nugent walked onstage. (If I didn’t like the opening act, there woulda been no reason to go to the concert.)
Every song that ole Teddy Bear plays sounds like every OTHER song that Teddy plays… He has all the originality of a Xerox machine, and even less common sense. But, to give the Nuge his due, he has a real solid grip on pomposity.
If you need someone who is a right-wing nutjob and can play the same six licks really really fast, then Nugent is the man for you. If you need someone who has at least a passing resemblance to humanity, there are at least a dozen better guitarists.
Nugent is exactly the kind of person who jeopardizes gun rights for all–people hear him say moronic and dumb things…totally stupid things, and you cannot blame them for freaking out and getting scared-they believe him…
He has turned into big phony…or maybe he always was…! But the remarks about his guns, and the threats are over the top…has no one pointed out to the dolt that the NRA was scaring the bejesus out of people to make money?
To them, they make more money by scaring people into joining the NRA..it’s a win-win for everybody……….and it’s unconscionable.
This guy is a waste of air.
Isn’t Ted Nugent supposed to be a libertarian or something? It used to be that if someone was a “libertarian”, they didn’t say nonsense like someone was “spitting on the ten commandments”. sheesh. Even besides that, Ted Nugent is in NO POSITION to act like he’s so religious, having called someone a “worthless bitch”, a senator a “worthless whore” and someone a “piece of shit”, while shooting them (hey, he would consider that “sexist” if someone on the left said something like that about Sarah Palin or Ann Coulter.) He’s known for being foul-mouthed, and he had an illegitimate child. Assh-le and hypocrite are definitely the words I have in mind for him. Also, pompous chickenhawk. Him and Hannity make the world a dumber, more jingoistic place.
He never has a solid argument to back his case. People hear him talk, and they’re frightened that he speaks for everybody who owns a gun, he’s the caricature of a gun nut, and he does love to kill.
Ted Nugent is an awesome talent and one of the greatest guitar players of our time. This weird, slanted commentary is out of sync with America. Nugent represents what the majority of us stand for: hard work, accountability and adherence to our founding documents. He rocked last night just as hard as he did 20 years ago.
Ted Rocks!
er, rocking and racism are 2 different things. If Ted and you stand for racism then more power to ya. Carry on
I remember “Fried Nugget” for his loud performances in the ’70s. Nothing of his “talent” impressed me then. Turns to right wing loud-mouthing at some point, or was that from his get go of fame? Anyway, sure not much there of worth…
And by the way, “truth…” you might want to check those “Founding Documents.” Your ideas concerning are probably well out of sync with not only most people in the United States, but also our own history as a people.
