Stormy Daniels’ attorney took to Twitter on Saturday to promise a “major announcement in the coming days” about the “thug” who threatened the adult film star in 2011.
Michael Avenatti told the person who threatened Daniels, “You can run but you can’t hide.”
Expect a major announcement in the coming days regarding our efforts to identify the thug who threatened Ms. Clifford in Las Vegas in 2011 to “leave Trump alone” while making reference to her little girl. You can run but you can’t hide. #thugsearch #seriousconsequences #basta

According to the adult film star’s account of the story, which she shared during a ’60 Minutes’ interview last month, a man confronted her in a Las Vegas parking lot about her affair with Trump.
“Leave Trump alone. Forget the story,” the person said, according to Daniels. “That’s a beautiful little girl. It’d be a shame if something happened to her mom.”
Trump is toast if he knew about threats
While there is no pleasant aspect to this sex scandal for Trump, it hasn’t always been that surprising to the general public. This president is a womanizer, and the fact that he had an affair with a porn star while he was married to Melania Trump is no major shock.
The main concerns surrounding this controversy should instead be the attempts – both the alleged threats and the financial efforts – to keep Daniels silent.
Trump said this week that he had no idea his lawyer Michael Cohen had given Stormy Daniels $130,000 to stay quiet during the campaign. This is likely a provable lie that shredded Trump’s entire defense, which is why Daniels’ legal team was on cloud nine after the president said it.
Now, with Michael Avenatti promising to expose new details about the man who threatened Daniels, it could bury Trump in even more legal boulders.
If Trump knew about the threats made to Stormy Daniels and did nothing to stop them, he is toast.
