“Obama and Kids” is trending today after White House photographer Pete Souza shared the first photo in this gallery on Thursday of President Obama and a small visitor at the Black History Month celebration.
The picture went viral, inspiring people to share other pictures of the President with kids. Michael Skolnik, who is a Board Member of the Trayvon Martin Foundation, shared the picture this morning, writing a truly moving acknowledgement of President Obama’s powers as a role modeltweeting, “We’ll never truly be able to measure the impact that President @BarackObama has had on our children.”
