Dr. David Scheiner, the former doctor for Barack Obama, said the reason given by the White House for Donald Trump’s unexpected weekend visit to the hospital is “absolute nonsense.”

The White House claims Trump was getting a head start on his yearly physical, but Dr. Scheiner said, “The whole thing could have been done at the White House” if it was really related to his physical.
The former Obama doctor added, “I think he had what I would call … an urgency, something went wrong. Now, maybe he had chest pain, maybe he had some neurological – I think he is someone who has some neurological issues, which no one has ever really addressed, and I think its quite possible that his physician did not feel that he could handle it himself.”

Dr. Scheiner:
Absolute nonsense. You don’t take a part of your physical one time and then a month or two later, take another part of your physical. I’ve never heard of anything like that. And also, his physical for the kinds of things he needs, the whole thing could’ve been done at the White House. There was no reason. Blood tests, electrocardiogram … He’s had stress tests done before. There’s no procedure that’s part of a routine exam that could not have been done at the White House, so that’s absolute balderdash. I think he had what I would call … an urgency, something went wrong. Now maybe he had chest pain, maybe he had some neurological – I think he is someone who has some neurological issues, which no one has ever really addressed, and I think its quite possible that his physician did not feel that he could handle it himself. … His inability to say words sometimes worries me tremendously. He is having trouble word-finding. … These aren’t slips of the tongue. There are words, he can’t find them, and this is happening over and over again. Comedians joke about it, but it’s not a joking matter. I think there is a neurological issue that is not being addressed. And if he had an MRI of his over there, I would be very pleased because I think he needs it. … The worry that I have is that maybe he’s having small strokes.Â
Another White House cover-up?
This administration has repeatedly shown that they can’t be trusted on big issues and small. Over the past three years, there has been no shortage of White House cover-ups, from the Mueller report to the president’s tax returns to his phone call with the president of Ukraine.
The president’s sudden visit to the hospital over the weekend is shaping up to be yet another instance in which the White House is trying to hide something that could be political damning for the president as the 2020 campaign begins to heat up.
With the physical talking point already being crushed, the American people deserve to know the real reason the president of the United States was rushed to the hospital over the weekend – and the media shouldn’t stop asking.
