Trump Is Too Scared To Come To Pittsburgh, So He Is Holding ‘Pittsburgh or Paris’ Rally In D.C.

President Trump has no qualms about spending taxpayer money to fly down to his Florida vacation home for a weekend of golf but appears to lack the guts to come to the Steel City for his ‘Pittsburgh or Paris’ rally.

Politico reported that Trump’s rally celebrating his withdrawal of the US from the Paris climate accord wouldn’t happen in the city that he claims his actions represent, but in a park across from the White House in Washington, DC, “President Donald Trump’s campaign announced a “Pittsburgh, not Paris†rally across from the White House on Saturday to celebrate the United States’ withdrawal from a global climate agreement.”

The White House is doing their part to protect Trump’s fragile ego. If Donald Trump came to downtown Pittsburgh, he most certainly would get a dose of the America that his staff is trying hard to prevent him from seeing. Pittsburghers are famous for their friendliness, but this is also a city that Hillary Clinton won with nearly 80% of the vote.

A Trump rally at a park in Pittsburgh could have attracted more protesters than supporters, but it is hypocritical of the President to claim that he made the decision for people like those who live in Pittsburgh, and then not come to the city to defend his actions to a population that disagrees with him.

Trump can’t handle criticism, and he is too scared to come to a place where he might not be loved.

The Trump administration should stop using Pittsburgh to sell their bad decisions when they don’t even have the guts to send the President to the city that he claims to be representing.
