Evil Trump Is Stealing Cancer Funds to Pay for Childrens’ Jails

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is reportedly reallocating more than $260 million in funds this year to house the increased number of detained migrant children.

According to a letter from HHS Secretary Alex Azar obtained by Yahoo News, more than $180 million coming from medical-related programs within the department, such as cancer research. The other $80 million is coming from refugee funds that were allocated to help refugees but are not being used. read more

AP Poll Says Most Democrats Don’t Want to Abolish ICE

A new poll has found that calls to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is a losing issue For Democrats this election year. The poll found that just one-fourth of Democrats surveyed support eliminating the much-aligned agency. ICE got massive amounts of unfavorable publicity after enforcing the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” policy of arresting undocumented adults crossing the U.S.-Mexico border and then separating immigrant children from their parents. read more

President Donald Trump’s zero tolerance immigration policy which resulted in several thousand migrant children being separated from their families has caused an international outcry and a political backlash within the United States.  And despite Trump’s executive order reversing the policy of separating migrant families, most of the children have not been reunited with their parents. United Nations Calls For Trump to Stop Child Separations

The head of the United Nations Human Rights Commission has demanded that the Trump administration immediately stop separating migrant children from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border.

U.N. High Commissioner Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein has called upon Donald Trump to stop enforcing his new zero tolerance policies which cause the the U.S. Border Patrol to separate migrant children from their parents after entering the United States from Mexico. read more
