A Secret Meeting Unmasks Four 2016 Republican Koch Brothers Puppets

Meet the Republican Koch puppets for 2016: Scott Walker, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, and Mike Pence.

Four of these Republican presidential hopefuls have been invited to a closed to the press donor meeting of the Kochs’ “nonprofit” Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce in Palm Springs, California, according to Politico.

It’s a gathering of the rich who intend to stay rich by imposing austerity and deregulation thinly disguised as “ideology” (based on a work of fiction) upon the rest of the country. The Kochs were named the 10th top polluter in 2010 and they’ve been fined millions for lying about poisoning people.

Sources told Politco that the four include Koch “favorite” Governor Scott Walker, Senators Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Marco Rubio. They are expected to attend, though none would confirm their attendance at the secretive meeting. Governor Mike Pence (R-IN) is another Koch favorite, but he is not expected to attend this event.

Kenneth P. Vogel reported:

The meeting, set to be held at a Palm Springs hotel, is the annual winter gathering of Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce, the nonprofit group that oversees the network of fiscally conservative groups formed with help from the Kochs and their operatives.

The Koch brothers and their many subgroups apparently think they had a “very successful cycle” with the 2014 elections, upon which they spent about $290 million, according to a political operative speaking to Politico. So they just might want to impact the Republican primaries now.

The Koch brothers, who long ago realized they couldn’t get directly elected as Libertarians and are now buying “Koch puppets”, funded almost 44,000 ads in the lead up to the 2014 election, according to the Center for Public Integrity and the Kantar Media Group/CMAG.

The total includes the six most active nonprofit groups in the Koch brothers’ coalition: Americans for Prosperity, the American Energy Alliance, Concerned Veterans for America, the Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce, Generation Opportunity and the 60 Plus Association.

That’s a lot of money and advertising — almost one out of every ten ads in the 2014 senate race, according to the Center for Public Integrity and the Kantar Media Group/CMAG — to defend an outcome that was predestined by the maps and the average midterm voter. That’s not exactly a huge propaganda win. The Kochs and their wealthy allies fooled a bunch of Republicans into voting against their own interests and voting for the oligarchs. This is not hard to do, this is what the Republican Party does. This is the purpose of Fox News.

The big question on everyone’s mind is if the Kochs let their “success” go to their heads, which puppet will they push and what will the Republican establishment do when they realize that just like the Tea Party has ruined their reputation in the House, the Kochs will destroy their reputation nationally if they are successful at pushing one of their favored sons through the presidential primaries.

Meanwhile the Koch family continue their rebranding tour, carefully plugging the holes from sunshine while spending millions so that they can keep enlarging their profit by poisoning Americans without the nasty repercussions that come from government regulations, like $20 million dollars they had to pay for covering up environmental violations at their refinery in Corpus Christi, Texas.

And it’s not just “tree huggers” who care. What the Kochs and their allies are doing is killing people. Bloomberg blew the lid off of their propaganda routine:

Bloomberg revealed the deaths, bribes, felony charges, envelopes stuffed with cash, criminal violations, deliberate poisoning of the air with cancerous smoke, and hundreds of millions of fines behind the Koch Brothers. They revealed that employees are taught to cheat and steal under “The Koch Method.” Oh, and the Kochs sold millions of dollars in petrochemical equipment to Iran, a country recognized for sponsoring terrorism but also one of three countries in the George W Bush identified “Axis of Evil.”

These are the people who are buying our government via the Republican Party. When you vote for Governors Scott Walker and Mike Pence and Senators Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Marco Rubio, you are voting to deregulate the Koch brothers so they can make even more money without having to worry about pesky fines from killing innocent people. Or, as the Koch brothers like to label it, “freedom”.

  1. Ah, the list, all the usual idiots are there. They certainly choose the easily bought. Its interesting how these four campaigned hard for the Koch congress. Just sayin.

  2. no need to kneel but they do supply a large bowl of prophylactics and extra special petroleum jelly for their sycophants…

  3. The Junkers, militarists, and industrialists maneuvered Hitler into the Chancellorship thinking he’d be their puppet, and I can just hear Ted Cruz’s rotten little heart accellerating a beat.

  4. Let’s say it like it is, it’s a gathering of the rich who feel they are not rich enough. The GOP represents the wealthiest people that they feel are not wealthy enough.

  5. Awww. Poor King Bobby didn’t make the cut. Even after sacrificing all us poor people to ALEC.
There are tears in Baton Rouge tonight…

  6. There used to be a time of day that the rich was rightly conceived to be the evil one. Now you have crooked politicians attempting to work for them and being paid by the American people to do it. They are double-dipping. It’s time for the American people to see the Koch Bros and these crooked politicians for what they are and what they want to do. Our hands are not tied, let’s stop it now. Starting with these politicians. Sadly they feel that after the elections, if they win, there’s nothing that can be done about it. They took an oath of office. Make tougher laws that allow them to be removed.

  7. Yep reynardine! but don’t try to tell a recent commenter named Rhondar, Rhondar refuses to accept who Hitler really was and his Jesuit Catholic upbringing. Every day the Reich Wing moves one step further to making our nation the 4th Reich. Hitlers only lasted 12 years, let’s nip this one in the bud.

  8. This republican Reich of trickle down economics has been going on for 35 years. It must end one way or another.

  9. I’m too cynical to believe the government is going to “help us” against cronyism, when it puts them in power. It’s like how they “helped” end free checking and handicapped amazon by levying special taxes on them.

  10. I had a customer in Bloomington IN, and he RAVED about Pence…all during the 08 president campaign…he had NO clue how IN would be now…

  11. I imagine to the Koch bros spending 290 million or roughly 3% of their 100+ billion dollar fortune to buy an election resulting in changes in govt. policy exclusive & favorable to them & their efforts to erode away our country’s democracy is a good deal.

What I can’t understand is why 100 billion dollars is not enough money. There has to be something fundamentally wrong with a person who believes this isn’t enough.

What’s really scary is that none of these men seem able to understand how their behavior & policies affect other people. This isn’t a game; people are hurt & lives are ruined by these policies they try to masquerade as Christian & family values.

  12. This is directed to the person(s) who gave a vote of “no way” to several comments. While you’re obviously entitled to your opinion, you’re also obviously oblivious to the facts presented in this article. Please have the courage of your convictions and explain why you disagree. Why you feel it’s OK to have our democracy bought and paid for. Why you feel it’s OK for two of the wealthiest people of all time to fund people and projects that knowingly hurt and kill people. Why it’s OK to do away with environmental regulations that impact YOUR kids and grandkids. Why it’s OK to take away the right to vote. Why it’s OK to gut public education. I could go on…

If you do agree with the oligarchs, fine. Yet please do not call yourself Christian. You are not.

  13. I’ve always wondered why anyone would need that much $$$$ also, that $$$ could feed the millions upon millions of starving children, cure diseases, help the homeless…oh nevermind it’s just my liberal caring brain.

The Koch brothers may spend $290 million on this election. That’s how much 5,270 American households make in a year.

  14. It would be nice to see what their NO WAY was about…like a little debate, they’re just chicken littles

  15. As long as masses believe that “liberals” want to do away with their gods and their guns, idiots like the Koch brothers and their ilk will always have control of this nation. I’m a Bernie Sanders guy but even I know it’s a pipe dream. Jesus spoke of people like this when He said “Truly they have their reward”. America is done. Sad but true.

  16. How do they differ, pray tell? They all believe in keeping minorities in their place, women down, and the little people little. Please go smoke a chem trail. It’s full of the nice, clean straw you put out there.

  17. have any of you heard of soros or steyer? figure it out boneheads, politics is about money – both sides. do you really think a first term senator from no where with no record, no school transcripts, several social security numbers and various aliases was ever going to get elected without some serious money behind the effort to pave the way?? are you really that clueless?
go ahead and hate on the koch brothers, but then apply the same criteria to the billionaires that support obama and clinton – and there are many, just google for yourself.
    wake up!

  18. Boy are you ever on the cliches!

    Let me help you.
No president in history has ever released his school transcripts
    Obama has 1 SS number.
He was a state Senator for some years before deciding to go for the federal congress.
He had support, he was a viable candidate.
Soros spends much less then the koch. And none on treasonous groups like the teas thugs.

Get out from under fox news and breitbarts brain. They are killing you

  19. I hope Palm Springs in BLUE Calfornia overcharged the SHIT out of them at their hate meeting.

    How uninformed you are:

    Soros, George
    Soros Fund Management
    New York, NY $3,560,000

The Koch brothers may spend $290 million on this election. That’s how much 5,270 American households make in a year.

    Tea bag/repubs have lower IQ’s

  20. so basically you agree that its like the old saw….both sides are prostitutes, and all you are showing us is that their prices are different.

you are being played. wake up!

  21. No you being played and just to ignorant to realize it unless you for restricting people who don’t look like you rights
