In the 2016 presidential election Donald Trump won Wisconsin by about 22,000 votes. Much analysis has been done as to why Hillary Clinton lost Wisconsin, but most Democrats have agreed that one of the main causes for this surprising loss was the existence of a strict voter I.D. law that kept many Democrats from voting.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Mitt Romney would be Secretary of State if it were not for Russian influence.
In an article published Thursday morning the Journal reported:
“Weeks after Donald Trump was elected president, Russia-backed online “trolls” flooded social media to try to block Mitt Romney from securing a top job in the incoming administration, a Wall Street Journal analysis shows.”
This despite the fact that the president, his lawyers, and White House officials have bragged about their transparency and cooperation when it comes to the Russia probe.
Trump dropped the commission, but he plans to direct the Department of Homeland Security "to review these issues."
Trump is doing his best to hand Robert Mueller and congressional investigators an open-and-shut obstruction of justice case against him.
Not only did the "charitable" foundation not do much charity work, but Trump frequently used it to enrich himself, his family members, and his businesses.
The move by Mueller suggests that, while the Trump campaign claims to be "voluntarily" handing over all Russia-related documentation, they aren't being fully forthcoming.
